Young people on the Lower East Side have been working hard all year on community science projects! Our LES Junior Scientist Interns have been studying the effects of road salt on native grass; water quality and preference in LES high schools; the effects of metal contamination on flower vibrancy; and microbial fuel cells as a possible source of renewable energy.
Come hear about and celebrate their work on June 3rd from 5:30-7pm at the LES Community Lab in School for Global Leaders!
Refreshments will be served.
