Uniting Educators, Scientists, and the Public

We believe that strong networks between educators and scientists will lead to greater understanding and interest in science amongst school-aged students and the general public. The BioBus builds these connections by bringing professional scientists and educators together in both teaching and professional development settings. Visiting Scientists on the BioBus bring professional expertise to our public education programs and provide students with professional role models. Our professional development programs bring teachers and scientists together to plan and train for both BioBus educational activities as well as their own classrooms and laboratories.

The BioBus collaborates with many organizations in order to bring our programs a broad audience and further facilitate our community building efforts.
